"A New Community Theatre in Calabasas" The Spotlight the Arts Foundation is hosting a general meeting open to all those interested in its activities to promote the arts in and near Calabasas. Focus will be on starting a theatrical company, one which will aim to be included in the California International Theatre Festival to be hosted by the City of Calabasas in July. The drama features Spanish and Native American music, song, and dance, and a regiment of soldiers. Also featuring vocalist Annie Reznik, winner of the 2009 Richard Carpenter Music Scholarship.
