Spotlight The Arts Foundation presents
dramatic readings of Edgar Allan Poe’s works
Saturday, November 2nd at 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
The Stage at The Commons at Calabasas, CA - Spotlight The Arts Foundation presents dramatic readings of Edgar Allen Poe at a spooky ticket-free event for adults who will thrill to the shriek of The Raven and The Tell-Tale Heart.
Conjuring Halloween on November 2nd, the moaning and groaning of The Bells lures onlookers to the howls of a drunken nobleman who meets a dismal fate in The Cask of Amontillado ... are you brave enough to be there?
Get ready to rehearse your screams as actors Bradley Bobbs, Marcie Goldwater, Trina Marguerite, Diane LeMoine, and Steve B. Green bring the works of America’s master of mystery to life with recitations of Annabel Lee, Lenore, Eldorado, Alone, and Dreams.
Director, actor, and producer Joel Asher, whose past accolades include Artistic Director of the Arena Fair Summer Theatre, The New Hampshire Shakespeare Festival, and Los Angeles Shakespeare Company, directs these spine-chilling, terror-filled stories.
The guest of honor will be Poe aficionado and Calabasas City Councilman James R. Bozajian, who will be introducing the history of these intriguing literary works.
